During the winter holidays, the Royal Danish Library welcomes all curious children and their adults inside The Black Diamond for creative activities and an exciting treasure hunt.
Winter holidays in The Black Diamond offer several experiences for children and their adults. Go on a treasure hunt in the exhibition TREASURES and express yourself in our creative workshop every day from 10am-4pm.
Make your own adventure suitcase
Visit our creative workshop and make your own fairy tale trunk Take your trunk with you on an adventure and explore the exhibition TREASURES with the library's greatest and most important treasures, such as original letters and paper clippings by the fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen and others. The creative workshop is free for children and their adults.
Treasure hunt! Explore the library's greatest treasures
With a treasure map in one hand and a flashlight in the other, you can go on a treasure hunt in the exhibition TREASURES. Solve fun tasks and get to know the exhibition's many books, drawings, photographs, globes, letters and important papers. It costs 40 DKK for adults with children in the exhibitions when they go treasure hunting.
