The award-winning Trio Vitruvi is known for bringing a rarely heard depth and energy to the classical repertoire with masterful technique and musical integrity. The trio has won numerous awards, recorded records and played many international concerts with great success. Their special "Vitruvian" ability to easily change the mood and play with the contrasts of the music without losing their musical unity, makes their concerts a unique experience for the audience.
This evening the trio invites violinist Hartmut Rohde and double bass player Nabil Shehata to the stage.

Hartmut Rohde
Recognised as one of the world's leading violists, and famous for his rich tonal palette and precise stylistic awareness. The combination of clarity and intense expression has led to a great career worldwide as a soloist, chamber musician, conductor and teacher at, among others, the Berlin Universität der Künste and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Nabil Shehata
Is one of today's most critically acclaimed double bass players, with countless first performances and concerts as a soloist with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim. He is also a long-time member of Barenboim's West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. In addition to his concert work, he is also a sought-after conductor, both as chief conductor of the Munich Chamber Orchestra and with several of the world's leading orchestras.
