Tour of the exhibition #DKgame - Danish computer games from 1960s to 2020s

Danish computer games are a success story. Take a tour of the special exhibition #DKgame and hear the story of both the artistic and commercial success.

Step into the wonderful world of Danish computer games of imagination, research and community when Jakob Moesgaard from the library's computer game collection shows around in the large special exhibition #DKgame - Danish computer games from 1960s to 2020s.

#DKgame - Danish computer games from 1960s to 2020s zoom in on the history and importance of computer games to our lives. Through more than 100 computer games from the 60s to today, the exhibition pays tribute to the internationally recognised and often experimental, playful and narratively intriguing Danish computer games.

On the tour, Jakob Moesgård will talk about the games on display and why these games have been selected for the exhibition from among the more than 4,000 games in the Royal Danish Library's computer game collection.

After the tour, you can explore the exhibition yourself and try playing computer games from four different decades - from Hugo the Screen Troll to the VR game What the bat?!
