Thought Leadership Stage: Jeremy Rifkin (US)
We have enough of crises - but according to Rifkin, they can be the starting point for change for the better. Hear him talk about what prerequisites it requires.
Economist and social theorist Jeremy Rifkin is one of those that political leaders in the US and Europe as well as China call when they want a qualified suggestion on how we solve problems for a better future.
According to Rifkin, we are just now leaving the industrial era of the last 250 years and moving towards a resilient revolution with such things as circular economy and increased citizen involvement in democracy. And if you ask Rifkin, it is a good thing – because humanity has all the best prerequisites to seize the chance for a revolution for the better. In November, he shows the way from the stage in the Queen's Hall.
