Kind of Cyan - Matinée concert
Ravel's masterful piano trio in A minor.
Ravel's masterful piano trio in A minor
At this concert, Kind of Cyan challenges Maurice Ravel's piano trio through elements from the world of electronic music. Based on Ravel's temperamental and water-simulating tones, the trio will create electronically manipulated intermezzi that mirror and further interpret one of the greatest works in musical literature.
Spring's four matinée concerts: The classic canon reinterpreted
Kind of Cyan consists of violinist Cæcilie Balling, cellist Josefine Opsahl and pianist Cæcilie Tagmose. Within the constellations trio, duo and solo, the musicians in Kind of Cyan have over the years worked with fusion and new interpretations of classical music through free, contrasting methods such as improvisation and electronic sound manipulation.
