International Authors' Stage: Carl Frode Tiller (NO) in conversation with Martin Glaz Serup

In February, you can experience the critically acclaimed Norwegian author Carl Frode Tiller for a conversation about identity, social heritage and complex human relationships.

Identity, togetherness and grief

Carl Frode Tiller is one of the most important contemporary Scandinavian authors. When he takes the stage in February, it will be for a conversation about his writing, including his latest novel, Flugt, which has just been published in Danish. The novel is an exploration of grief and the relationship between the living and the dead. It is the story of the loss of a child, what binds the parents together, and the constant shifts in human relationships.

In Flugt, the reader experiences, as in the rest of Tiller's writing, how he masterfully intertwines actions, motives and intentions. Everything that is difficult, which is usually in the background, is brought into focus with Tiller.

When Carl Frode Tiller takes the stage in the Queen's Hall, he will talk about his writing, about playing with form and language, about people in deep emotional waters and about getting to know oneself through writing.
