Friday jazz: Karmen Rõivassepp and Machina Mundi

Come and listen to live jazz by the harbour in front of The Black Diamond - completely free!

For the season's fourth Friday jazz on the waterfront on 14 July, you can experience the band Machina Mundi together with singer Karmen Rõivassepp.

Karmen Rõivassepp has performed with the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra and DR Big Band, among others. This afternoon, her beautiful, pure and clear voice is in an exciting, rhythmic and harmonious collaboration with the band Machina Mund.

The music is inspired by the legendary band Weather Report, and has a similar character in its sound image partly through the use of synthesizer, keyboards, saxophone and effects. The compositions, written by Luboš Soukup, are both elegant, challenging and attractive through its "feel good-grooves" and exciting solos.

Keep an eye out for when we regularly publish the summer programme.
