Fashion photography - Fryd Frydendahl in conversation with Chris Pedersen
Conversation about fashion photography then and now with photographer Fryd Frydendahl and journalist Chris Pedersen. The event is in Danish.
Fashion photography is part of the exhibitions The Camera and Us and Lee Miller, and the phenomenon is much more than just pictures of clothes. It makes us dream of being someone else, of looking like a model and living in a glamorous universe with the latest new thing.
Today, fashion photography can also be ironic in regards to itself, mimic everyday life or even show our dark sides. But the conventions of beauty are still narrow.
Editor and journalist Chris Pedersen talks to photographer and head of the photography school Fatamorgana, Fryd Frydendahl, about fashion photography.
After the event, the exhibitions are open to the public.
