Family Culture Night 2025

Royal Danish Library invites children and their adults inside for a creative workshop. Draw, cut and paste your favourite things and objects that you collect, and create a cabinet of curiosities for your very own collections.

Maybe you collect beautiful stones, rare stamps, Pokémon cards or something completely different? At Royal Danish Library we collect books, letters, photographs, globes, computer games and much, much more. It is all something that tells an important story. Experience the magic of the library's Old Reading Room and unleash your creativity among old books and amidst the presence of history.
Remember to buy a Culture Pass
There is free admission to Royal Danish Library and the activities in The Old Reading Room with a valid Culture Pass. The Culture Pass also gives access to many other fun activities at Family Culture Night.
