Kierkegaard will not be attending for good reasons, but the composers Peter Jensen and Stefan Pasborg will. Together, they have dared to focus on Søren Kierkegaard's Either – Or in a new musical work, commissioned by the Royal Danish Library.
What choices does a composer face when setting music to Kierkegaard's words? You can hear more about that on this afternoon, where – in addition to the two composers – you can meet one of the library's Kierkegaard connoisseurs, senior researcher Anders Toftgaard.
The work can be heard in the Queen's Hall on 1 July at 20. The afternoon is a fine introduction to the work, but also a look into the composer's workshop.
