Tour for Diamond Club members: Danish Press Photo of the Year
The year's best press photos are chosen by the Press Association's jury, and the selected photos are exhibited in the Black Diamond. We will show you around the exhibition on the day.
Last year's winner (see photo) was taken by Asger Ladefoged. The motif shows the contrasts of the uprising in connection with the elections in Belarus in August 2020. The winning image was selected by the jury after it reviewed 2,622 photographs submitted by 164 photojournalists. The jury called it "one of the year's most surprising pictures".
The Press Association's new chairman Sisse Strøyer talks about this year's winners and the work of the jury - and has invited one of the winning photographers along for a tour of the exhibition.
