The Creative Library - Crowns of pasta

Children and their adults can make crowns with inspiration from the Royal Danish Library's collection - in pasta!

Bring your siblings, friends and adults for creative fun in The Black Diamond's workshop - The Creative Library. At the workshop you can make your own artwork together with visual artist Ann Louise Andersen. We have gone through the library's archives and found beautiful and fascinating old books and pictures, which we are inspired by and work from. All workshops are drop-in events and take approximately one hour to attend, but feel free to stay longer. So get your inner artist ready and come by.

This time you can make your own crown that will make any king or queen envious. The library's collections are full of photographs of royalty with their crowns, tiaras and diamonds and we will take a closer look at them so you can make your own crown. It is not an ordinary crown that you will take home with you. We build our crowns with all kinds of pasta, which we gold bronze so it looks like real gold.

The event is for children aged 5-12 and their adults - and is of course free.

It takes place in Danish.
