Regulations for research institutions/companies and governmental authorities
This application form applies exclusively to the institution, company or governmental authority as a whole. If you want to register as an individual, please register as a private user.
§1 Registration
You register as a user by filling out the special application form via the library’s website. The form must be filled out and sent to Ask the library.
§2 Use
Research institutions, companies and governmental authorities can order material for borrowing.
Interlibrary loan from DK is free.
Interlibrary loans from abroad cost:
- Research institutions and governmental authorities: 100 DKK.
- Companies: 200 DKK.
§3 Loan period
The loan period is usually one month, unless otherwise stated. The maximum loan period is six months.
§4 Delivery
Delivery takes place by collection or postal delivery against a payment of 150 DKK per material.
During collection, the user must present the pick-up notice sent by email when the ordered / reserved material is ready for collection.
The user can give another person a power of attorney to pick up their ordered material.
A forwarded pick-up notice is considered a power of attorney and an indication that the recipient of the notice may pick up the material.
The holder of the power of attorney must bring their own identification.
§5 Recalls and suspension
A reminder will be sent before the return date and three recall notices after the due date via email. A recall fee is paid for the second and third recall.
Research institutions, companies and governmental authorities are blocked if there are amounts due of 5000 DKK or more.
§6 Liability
In the event of lost material, research institutions, companies and governmental authorities are subject to the same claim for compensation as private users.
