Special regulations for employees at selected universities.
§1 Registration
You register as a user via the library’s website. To register, you need to have a valid email address.
§2 Use of Det Kgl. Bibliotek and Roskilde University’s collections
Material for borrowing and using at home
An employee can order material for it using at home, and choose a collection point for pick up.
Employees at University of Copenhagen and Aarhus University can also choose to have the material delivered to their institute using Personal Delivery. This only applies to the institutes covered by the delivery service agreement for KU.
Non-circulatory material
Non-circulatory material from Det Kgl. Bibliotek – Copenhagen, can be ordered for use at the Research reading room in the Black Diamond.
Non-circulatory material from Det Kgl. Bibliotek – Aarhus, can be ordered for use in the Reading room on Victor Albecks Vej.
Non-circulatory material from Roskilde University Library can be ordered for use in the Reading room at Roskilde University.
Interlibrary lending
Interlibrary lending is free.
§3 Loan period
The loan period is normally one month, unless otherwise stated.
Loans are automatically renewed if the material has not been reserved by another user.
The maximum loan period is one year.
§4 Recall notices and suspension
A reminder is sent on e-mail before the return date and three recall notices after the due date. There is no fee for recall notices. The employee's loan, order and renewal rights are suspended if the material is not handed in before the third recall notice.
The employee is blocked if there are amounts due of 200 DKK or more.

§5 Liability
The employee is personally responsible for the loan from the time it is lent until it is returned in the library system. The compensation case, which includes the book's price and a collection fee of DKK 150, is placed under Fees in the employee's account.
