Regulations for employees at the central administration
These sub-regulations apply to registered users of Royal Danish Library service for the central administration
These regulations supplement "Regulations of Royal Danish Library”, and contains the special rules that apply to this user group.
Note that the employees of the central administration, on an equal footing with others, have the opportunity to register as personal user at Royal Danish Library if you want to borrow material unrelated to your employment.
§1 Registration
User registration presupposes that you are employed by the Danish central administration. The central administration is defined in this context as ministries, agencies, departments, directorates, councils, boards and supervisors. In case of doubt, please contact Royal Danish Library service for the central administration.
New users are created by contacting Royal Danish Library service for the central administration.
§2 Use
Registered users can order materials for borrowing free of charge. Likewise, Users have either remote access or the option of ordering electronic materials for free, including license-based research articles.
§3 Loan period
The loan period is usually 1 month unless otherwise stated. The maximum loan period is six months.
§4 Delivery
Ordered materials are sent to the workplace through transport delivery or postal service.
§5 Recalls and suspension
A reminder is sent out before the return date and three recall notices after the due date via e-mail. No recall notice fee is charged. If the material is not returned after the 3rd recall, the material is considered lost and is liable for damages.
The user is blocked if there are amounts due of 200 DKK or more.
The users are responsible for returning borrowed materials to Royal Danish Library.
§6 Liability for damages
In the event of loss of material, the central administration is subject to the same collection of compensation as personal users. The claim for compensation is sent to the user's workplace.
