Special opening in the Old Reading Room

Visit the Old Reading Room on Sunday, 13 April and Thursday, 17 April to Monday, 21 April. Experience the historic atmosphere in the beautiful reading room from 1906. You will receive access to the reading room as part of your exhibition ticket. Please note that from 14 to 16 April, access is only for researchers and students.

The whole family is welcome at The Black Diamond. We have free admission to activities that ensure fun and educational experiences for both children and adults. Go on "The Great Diamond Hunt" indoors, or explore the treasures of cultural history with the "Treasure Expedition" in the TREASURES exhibition. If the weather is nice, you can go to "The Secret Garden on the Island of Power" in the Library Garden.
