Make a water lily

You can easily have a creative workshop at home at the kitchen table - see here how.

This time we take a closer look at the Reunification, for which we celebrated the 100th anniversary in 2020. When you go out into the country, notice the many reunion stones that have been erected. On several of them, there is a nice water lily and the water lily appears on several of the party programmes and songbooks that we have saved from the year of the Reunification. It is a symbol of Kongeåen, which became a river in Denmark instead of the border with Germany after the Reunification.

In the video below, we show how you can make a water lily for something to do on a rainy day (the video is in Danish). And afterwards, you can go read more about the Reunification.

You need

  • A scissor
  • Paper
  • A pencil
  • Something round, for example a roll of tape, which you can draw a small circle around.

How to do it
