If you plan to sit for a while in our reading rooms or in the audience areas in the coming months, it may well get cold, so remember to bring warm clothes.
This is because, as most of you may know, the government has decided to implement significant energy savings in all public buildings, in order to counter a possible energy crisis. This means, for instance, that we do not heat our buildings to more than 19 degrees and that you may find that we do not turn on quite as many lights as we usually do.
The above applies to all libraries and public areas at Royal Danish Library and the university libraries at the University of Copenhagen, Roskilde University and Aarhus University.
