The first phase of the relocation of material to Vinge by Frederikssund is near the end. On 2 January 2023, it will again be possible to order the materials.

Some collections are not quite in place at the beginning of 2023. Therefore, in January and February there may be some collections that are not available. Because the operation of the new storage facility in Vinge needs to be up and running, there may be a delay in the delivery of materials.

Feel free to contact us via Ask the Library if you experience problems with access to the materials.

The relocation of materials to the newly built storage facility in Vinge is done to ensure the best possible storage conditions for the cultural heritage materials, so that they can be preserved for posterity. The facility is built with sustainable materials and solutions that provide low energy consumption and low operating costs.

The next and final phase of the move to Vinge will be completed in the autumn of 2023. Here, a number of collections will be unavailable for a period of 2-3 months. We will inform further when this moving phase approaches.

You are always welcome to write to Ask the Library if you want to know more about access to materials during the move.
