Cultural heritage
We preserve and manage both physical and digital Danish cultural heritage - from newspapers and manuscripts to commercials and music.
We work with the collection, legal deposit of published material, preservation, and access to cultural heritage in the form of printed and digital publications, radio and TV broadcasts, internet material, letters, manuscripts, photos, and so forth.
We are also behind the library's cultural activities in the form of concerts, exhibitions, literature events and more.
Our aim is to make the cultural heritage collections more accessible to users and ensure that the collections are preserved in the best possible way – for the benefit and enjoyment of citizens, now and in the future.
We work with the following core areas:
- Preservation
- The cultural area
- Legal Deposit
- Special collections.
