Chief executive of Royal Danish Library

The chief executive works with the rest of the executive board - and the whole of Royal Danish Library - to realise the library's strategic objectives under the heading "We show the way to knowledge". The vision is: Royal Danish Library will be a professional and cultural beacon in a world of knowledge that is increasingly difficult to navigate. We will help you find what you are looking for. And inspire you to find what you did not know you were looking for.

A number of key tasks are:

• Interdisciplinary work in the library's various professional branches
• Contribute to connecting and creating coherence between the professional areas
• Act as liaison to the Ministry of Culture
• Carry out political tasks
• Financial responsibility.
