Storage of personal data from user panel

This is how we process your personal data when you register as a participant in the user panel for our website.

Purpose and scope

In connection with registration to the user panel for the library's website, we carry out electronic registration and processing of your personal data.

The information includes: your name, your e-mail address, your telephone number, your region of residence, your age and your gender, as well as information such as your use of media and your knowledge of and use of Royal Danish Library and its digital platforms.

In addition, the statements and any screen and audio recordings recorded in connection with user surveys carried out under the auspices of the user panel will be stored and processed. The information is used by the library for the stated purpose.

The collected personal data is not used for anything other than the described purpose.

Personal information collected when registering for the user panel for the library's website is stored as long as you are an active member of the user panel and subsequently up to five years from the date of announcement, after which they are deleted.

If the processing makes use of a service provided by a third party, this party will only be entrusted with your personal data as a data processor for Royal Danish Library.

Revocation

This consent is given voluntarily and you can revoke it at any time. If you wish to revoke the consent, you must contact us.

If you withdraw your consent, we will stop processing your personal data, unless we are entitled or obliged to continue processing or storing your personal data on another basis, including in accordance with the law.

Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing that took place before the withdrawal of consent. If you withdraw your consent, it therefore only takes effect from this point.

Your consent is also decisive for your participation in the user panel, and if you withdraw it, this means that you are excluded from participating in the user panel's surveys.

If you do not withdraw your consent, we will keep your information as long as you are a member of the user panel and subsequently for up to five years from the date of announcement, after which we will delete it.
