Hartmann contributed to Christian Barnekow's "Melodier til et Nyt Tillæg til 'Psalmebog for Kirke- og Husandagt' udgivne af Roeskilde Præstekonvent" with five tunes: "Sædemanden" (HartW 403) from the 1860s and "Uforsagt, hvordan min Lykke" (HartW 489); "Vor Herre kom til Jordans Flod" (HartW 486); "Talsmand som paa Jorderige" (HartW 487); and "Midt igjennem Nød og Fare" which were all new.
